a Lisbon-based host and sommelier, working at the intersection of wine, hospitality, and Portuguese culture. I design and host private experiences at an unhurried pace, shaped by real relationships and a deep familiarity with the places we visit.

What I appreciated most was the sense of balance. There was expertise when it mattered, and space when it didn’t. We moved easily between cultural sites, countryside, and wine, without ever feeling rushed or over-directed. It felt considered and human, the kind of experience that stays with you long after the day ends. Wine was always the focus, but it was woven naturally into food, place, and culture. Easily one of the best days we’ve had travelling.
This never felt like a tour, it felt like being hosted by someone who genuinely understands wine, Portugal, and people. The pacing was perfect, nothing rushed, nothing forced and every visit felt considered and personal. We left feeling we’d really understood the region, not just visited it.
What stood out most was the access. We met producers we would never have found on our own, and the conversations were relaxed and generous rather than scripted. Wine was always the focus, but it was woven naturally into food, place, and culture. Easily one of the best days we’ve had travelling.
There was a calm confidence to the whole experience. We didn’t have to think, plan, or second-guess anything, everything just flowed. It was intimate without being formal, informative without being heavy. We came away not only with great memories, but with a real sense of connection to Portugal and its wines.

This experience explores the Setúbal Peninsula, where winegrowing landscapes meet the Atlantic coast. The day unfolds across three distinct wineries, each chosen for what they reveal about the region rather than for scale or reputation.
Between tastings, the focus shifts to the wider setting light, geography, and the relationship between land and sea allowing the experience to feel fluid, grounded, and quietly immersive.
